Thai Massage (1
Hour)
700 Baht
Traditional Thai massage, believed to have been brought over to
Thailand from India by a contemporary of
Lord Buddha over 2,500 years ago, is particularly soothing because
of its emphasis on stretching and loosening the body. The receiver
is put into many yoga-like positions during the course of the
massage. Lying on a mat or firm mattress on the floor in loose,
comfortable clothes,
firm rhythmic pressure is applied to almost every part of the body.
A Thai massage session lasts one hour and includes rhythmic pressing
and stretching of the entire body which may include pulling the
fingers, toes and ears, cracking the knuckles and walking on the
recipient's back.
Even the force of gravity is employed to mobilize the
flow of vital fluids by holding the body in various upside-down
postures. The so-called ‘artery block’, whereby the major
arteries that feed blood to the legs are shut by manual pressure for
30 to 45 seconds and suddenly released, brings a strong wave of
blood rushing warmly down through the legs, sweeping loose plaque
and other debris from the walls of the arteries and providing a big
boost to the entire circulatory system..

Body Oil Massage
(1 Hour) 850 Baht
The
comfort, warmth and reassurance of touch can improve the body's well
being by stimulating its own natural healing abilities giving a
sense of well being, restoring both - the physical and psychological
self. In a neutral environment our bodies are well equipped to deal
with short - term stress situations and the imbalances they create.
Balance is restored to the systems of the body in a repeating cycle
of physiological move and counter move. Long-term stress inhibits
the balancing process by denying the body the opportunity and
interrupting the cycle. Chronic long-term stress, often self-imposed
by modern work pressures, economic and social aspirations coupled
with environmental stress of urban living maintain imbalance with
all its attendant problems. Massage offers the ultimate solution to
these damaging effects of accumulated stress and aid in harmonizing
a troubled body and mind. Touch is a simple mean of communication,
comfort and something what we all do quite naturally. With a little
willingness and commitment this 'natural' talent can be turned into
a creative skill. Regular massage strengthens and tones the entire
body system. It can stimulate or alternately calm the nervous
system, help to ease tension, stiffness and pain leaving the
recipient with an enhanced sense of well being.
Body oils can be used in the bath or directly on the
skin for silky softness. Exhilarate your mind, body and spirit with
this blend of exotic product. Indulge yourself and discover the
benefits of body oil. Use as desired for massage. Apply generously
to moisturize skin after shower.

Hot
Herbal Compress Massage (1 1/2 Hour) 1,350 Baht

herbal compresses are frequently used in Thailand in conjunction
with traditional massage. Hot compresses are used to address chronic
problems, such as back pain and tendonitis, as well as to increase
energy flow, improve circulation, relax muscles and stimulate
nerves.
Hot compresses
provide the same type of stimulation as acupressure, and are used to
stimulate tender or sensitive areas that cannot be massaged
directly; for example, the back may be too painful for direct
acupressure, but
hot herbal
compresses on the same points will provide similar benefits.
Typically, a Thai massage therapist will not only
place a compress to the area of injury or disorder, but will also
work on acupressure points throughout the body to stimulate and

Foot Massage (1
Hour) 700 Baht
What the
difference is between foot massage and reflexology. Foot massage is
similar to Swedish massage the most common type of massage in North
America. Swedish massage strokes including effleurage,
petrissage, friction, tapotement, vibration. People typically use
massage oil or lotion and use gentle gliding strokes all over the
foot. A foot massage can make you feel better, can help you relax. A
foot massage can for example be performed as part of i.e. a pedicure
procedure by a nail technician.

Foot Reflexology
(1 Hour) 950 Baht
Foot massage is one of the most
unbelievably relaxing treats that you can give yourself or others.
The ultimate study of foot massage is reflexology. Foot reflexology
is "pressure therapy" and involves applying focused pressure to
certain known reflex points located in the foot to cure or prevent
disease. Foot reflexology is based on the premise that our nerve
zones or reflex points go from the bottom of our feet to the top of
our head, encompassing all vital organs on the way. A trained
reflexologist can put pressure on different meridiens or energy
lines on the sole and side of the feet to determine the cause of
illness. In a world where all we does is stand, run, walk and lift –
our feet support us the entire way. While being stifled in shoes and
socks all day, they have restricted circulation and air contact. Be
kind to someone close to you and give them the gift of a foot rub.
Although machines that massage feet are becoming popular, there is
no replacement for what the genuine human touch can do.

Body Aloe Vera
Wrap (1 Hour) 1,450 Baht
Body
wraps are designed to improve the texture and appearance of the skin
by helping to rid the body of excess fluids and toxins. The benefits
of body wraps may include body contouring, detoxification, boosting
of the lymphatic system and metabolism, temporary inch loss, skin
tightening, and skin softening.
The
elastic cloths absorb and help remove excess body fluids and toxins.
The cloths are wrapped snugly (though not too tightly), creating a
thermal blanket that promotes sweating and aids in the shedding of
unnecessary interstitial fluid (fluid located between the small
spaces of body tissues).
Body
wraps are all-natural, containing a mixture of herbs and minerals
designed to beautify the skin. Essential oils and sea salts may also
be used in daily spa body wrap treatments, helping to tone and
soften the skin while helping to rid you of those unwanted inches.
Results sometimes may be realized immediately. But toxins and
interstitial fluids eventually re-accumulate, so regular body wraps
may provide better long-term benefits.
Use
detoxifying organic materials such as mud or aloe vera to draw
toxins from the body and soften the skin.
Use
salts and other natural ingredients to exfoliate and detoxify the
skin
It is
a deeply relaxing treatment that are shown to decrease stress,
thereby lowering blood pressure and the detoxification can have a
profound effect on our health and well being.

Bach
Flower Essence Therapy (1Hour) 2,450 Baht
Bach flower essences (remedies) form
a part of alternative healing. They work most beneficially as part
of a holistic program of health care and comprise a therapeutic
system that uses dilutions of flower essences developed by Dr.
Edward Bach to balance physical and emotional disturbances. In the
world of flowers Dr. Bach found resonances of the conditions he
found in his patients. He believed the right essence can help to
bring back the patient to a positive, happy condition. Dr. Bach
distilled the essence of certain flowers, and chooses the right ones
for the state of being of a patient. Dr. Bach knew, that the human
being is more than a physical body. The human being incorporates a
body of life energy, a body of sensitivity and feelings, and a
spiritual body. Flower essences are energetic imprints of the life
force of plants. Dr Bach believed that the flower essences interact
with the subtle bodies and so can help people with physical illness
by addressing the emotional responses to their illness. Bach flower
essences (remedies) are similar to homeopathy in many respects. Bach
flower essences are not dependent on the theory of successive
dilutions, and are not based on the homeopathy's defining principle
the 'Law of Similars' ('Like cures like'). Another difference
between homeopathy and Bach flower remedies are the methods used to
produce them. The production of Bach flower essences is handled in
two ways, called 'potentization': the sun method and the boiling
method, both invented by Dr. Bach. There are 38 original Bach
remedies plus 'Rescue RemedyTM' (First Aid, Five flower remedy),
each prescribed for certain mental and emotional problems. They form
a complete therapeutic system. Practitioners treat every variety of
human emotional imbalances with the 38 Bach flower essences.
The
Bach Flower remedies are not homeopathic. They are not potentized
according to homeopathic practice, nor are they prescribed according
to the Law of Similars on which homeopathy is based.
They could be classified as herbal remedies because of their
origins. However, this is not completely true. Their action is not
chemical or pharmacological. They work on the mental level purely
through their "vibrations". Vibrational remedies don't contain a
substance that works. They contain the "signature" or vibration of a
particular substance. That vibration resonates with the vibration of
human cells. Chemical tests would only reveal water and brandy (as
preservative), the flower essence and its action cannot be detected
in this way.
Warning
The ideas and suggestions identified on this site are not
intended in any way as a substitute for qualified medical advice.
Bach Flower Essences work most beneficially as part of a wholistic
program of health care. They are not a substitute for medical
attention or professional psychological counseling. If you are ill,
please consult a qualified physician. Bach Flower Essences work on
subtle levels. They gently help to release old blocked energies held
within our body, mind and emotions. We can achieve harmony and
balance to all aspects of our being through these vibrational
remedies.
