An easy to make refreshing fruit juice that everyone loves! Mango and Passion Fruit Juice is so easy to make, looks delicious and so addictive it will become your new favorite breakfast drink!
This is my favorite mango and passion fruit juice recipe. Fresh mango, fresh passion fruit pulp, and fresh ginger are all blended with organic sugar. Have it for breakfast to start your day.
A glass of cold fresh juice is one of my favorite ways to start the day. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We all know that! But how about making fruit juice without yogurt or milk?Â
A smoothie or a shake is a great way to have your fruit daily intake. It easy to make, and you only need a blender to mix all the ingredients. And the same as making fruit juices. No cooking or baking is required!
The benefits of juicing
Juicing is beneficial for your immune system. Juicing fruits and vegetables may help us get the dietary fibers we need on a daily basis. It is also good for dieting and when we want to do a detox.
What fruits should you blend?
Tropical fruits and berries are usually recommended for juicing. It is also recommended that we include vegetables in our diets. Achieving a well-balanced diet usually means consuming ingredients that are healthy and full of nutrients.
The Mango fruit is highly nutritious and low in calories. Mango is a good source of folate, several B vitamins, as well as vitamins A, C, K, and E — all of which help boost immunity. It is no wonder that this fruit is loved by many. I am for sure one of those mangoes lovers who can’t stop buying a few when I see them as the supermarket.
Passion fruit is part of the citrus fruits family. The Passion fruit is a good source of iron, protein, vitamin A and vitamin C, folate, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, and B vitamins. Citrus fruits, in general, are a great source of antioxidants.
So what fruits should you blend together? The answer is simple. Blend fruits that you like and have the health benefits you’re looking for.
The best tools to juice fruits
Back in the days, we were relying on our good old blender. I remember letting the blender run until I would smell the motor burning from overworking.
What was it with us? We thought the old blenders would pulverize all the pieces of the fruits. Thank goodness for technology!
Can you use a blender for juicing? Absolutely! These days we have too many brands and models to choose from. The best blenders are the ones with a wattage of over 1000. Just remember that power is measured by wattage.
The lower the wattage, the more work your blender will have to do and the result will not be the same. You may end up with a chunky juice.
Check out these blenders and juicers.
The recipe
The first thing to do is to wash your fruits. The old method of rinsing the fruits under running water does not work anymore because of pesticides that are used in farms.
I keep a spray bottle filled with vinegar on my kitchen counter to clean fruits and vegetables. I spray the fruit first and then rinse before peeling or cutting. This method works for me.
