ULTIMATE DETOX, WEIGHT LOSS & WELLNESS PROGRAM
We realize that for many of our guests, participating in a detoxification program will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Because of this we strive to provide a highly personalized program and therefore limit the number of guests at our 4 Star Essential Beach side Retreat to 14 which allows our program managers to spend quality time supervising and guiding you through every step of your program, every day of the week.
- The 7-day Ultimate Detox & Weight Loss Program will initially consist of 6 days juice fasting and 1 day rejuvenation.
- The 10-day Ultimate Detox & Weight Loss Program will initially consist of 1 days pre-fasting, 7 days juice fasting and 2 days rejuvenation.
- The 14-day Ultimate Detox & Weight Loss Program will initially consist of 2 days pre-fasting, 10 days juice fasting and 2 days rejuvenation.
All programs can be altered at any time to suit the client’s condition and personal goals.
Naturally, the longer the program, the better the results and on average, our guests lose between 0.5 and 1.0 kg each day while juice fasting, depending on their physical condition and commitment to the program.
Our standard detox program can be tailored to suit most medical problems such as obesity, underweight, IBS, Anorexia, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, candida, cholesterol and thyroid issues etc.
Prior to joining our program we send you our Health Assessment Form which assists us to understand your medical issues and goals, so that we can alter your program accordingly.
Our programs offer the most natural and efficient way to readjust your metabolic balance, which generates weight loss, body realignment, general fitness and well being, while cleansing your body of the toxins, chemicals and parasites that have built up over the years and drastically inhibit good health and vitality.
THE PHYSICAL HOLISTIC PROGRAM
Throughout the program you will actively participate in 4 hours of group exercise daily, with 1-on-1 sessions with our trainer available on request. All exercises are suitable for both genders of all ages and physical conditions.
Do not be concerned, as all the exercise sessions are completed at your own pace and we can vary your sessions to suit your condition.
While our retreat may be located on a popular tropical island, your time with us will require your complete motivation and focus as “the more you put-in, the more you get-out”. For maximum results, we encourage you to participate in all activities and assure you that the results will be amazing and become visible by the end of the program.
Sometimes the detox program causes things to get a little worse before they get better, so please accept any minor physical and emotional discomforts you may experience at first, because the results will make these more than worthwhile.
The Ultimate Detoxification and Weight Loss Program, coupled with the physical, mental and educational activities we provide, will prepare you for a return to the “real world”, on-track to make the lasting changes that will allow you to realize all your personal goals.
OUR MENU AND NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT
We serve only healthy all-natural juices, foods and supplements with no chemicals, pills, capsules or artificial substances of any kind.
On pre-fast and rejuvenation days you will enjoy 3 ‘healthy life’ meals per day, consisting of fresh fruits, vegetables, salads and soups, with chicken and fish on request. Alternatively, choose from the selections on our popular raw food menu.
In addition, you will also receive 5 natural supplement and nutritional drinks and 3 fresh juices daily.
On juice-fasting days you will not consume any solid food, but receive 8 natural supplement and nutritional drinks and 3 fresh juices daily, with a vegetable herb broth in the evening.
20 years’ experience have proven this is plenty to get you through the day and make the juice fasting stage of the program more comfortable and enjoyable. However, you will be closely monitored on a daily basis and the program can be adjusted at any time to suit your physical and mental needs.
Included in the program
Because alkaline water has a higher pH level than does plain tap, distilled or bottled water, we only use our very own Alkaline Water for drinking and cooking. This provides our clients with several important health aspects such as

All customers are encouraged to drink as much of our water as possible which is available free of charge, at either room temperature or chilled, 24 hours a day.
DAILY COLONIC IRRIGATION
Because of our “modern lifestyles” excess toxins and chemicals from the foods we eat, the air we breathe and the water we drink accumulates in the faecal waste (plaque) that line the walls of the colon, large intestine causing general ill health over time.
The colonic irrigation is a very gentle enema procedure which you do in the privacy of your bathroom to flush out the accumulations of plaque.
We give you a very thorough information and instruction session prior to your first irrigation.
THE LIVER AND GALLBLADDER CLEANSE
On day 4 or 5 of your program you will have a gallbladder and liver cleanse to purge the liver of all the fats, cholesterol deposits (gallstones), poisons, drug residues, and toxic waste it has stored through the years.
The liver is so important to our well-being that many healers maintain it is impossible for most diseases to develop if it is functioning in an efficient, healthy manner – and that an unhealthy liver is very likely to be at the source of most serious health problems.
We can state with certainty that nothing else you do in life, “ even the colon irrigation” will result in a greater improvement to your overall health.
Again we deliver a full workshop on the process and benefits of the flush prior to you participating.
YOUR DAILY SCHEDULE AT NEW BODY AND MIND
During the hours of 7.00 am until 7:00 pm our team of 5 program managers will give you all the support you need, including giving you your program supplements, juices and meals and getting you to activities on time. We like our guests to be wowed by the level of care and attention in advising, instructing, encouraging and pampering you for your entire program.
6:00am: Your day begins with a 90-minute walk around a picturesque and peaceful lake. You’ll stroll at your own pace as you take in the beauty of the lush forests and pristine beaches, concluding back at the retreat greeted by our program managers with a cool towel and refreshing fruit juice.
7:45am Enjoy a quick dip in the pool or ocean before breakfast. This is also an opportunity for you to discuss your progress with the program director, if you would like to do so or arrange a time later in the day.
8:30am It’s time to stretch your body and relax your mind in a 90-minute yoga/stretch fusion session. Instructed by our renowned teacher Da, you’ll be guided through a stretch program that has been specially designed for our detoxing clients and suitable for all genders, ages and physical conditions.
10:00am It all heats up with an infrared sauna session. Your relaxing 30-minute session will assist weight-loss, rid your body of toxins, ease joint pain and stiffness and purify and clear your skin. Followed by a heavenly 30 minute, Hydrotherapy Bath to cool down and reduce muscle tension, joint inflammation, pain and stress, Amazing therapy.
11:00 am Now it’s time for the most popular of our daily detox protocols: your choice of a Thai or Aromatherapy massage. Indulge in 90 minutes of bliss at the heavenly hands of our very experienced therapists. Your massage will reduce muscle tension and soreness, increase joint mobility and flexibility, soothe anxiety and depression and improve cardiovascular health.
12:30 pm Take time out to sunbathe by the pool or at the beach or catch up with business or people you love. During this time, the team will set up your daily colonic irrigation. Don’t be intimidated, this is a very gentle enema, with coffee, to flush out the accumulation of plaque in your large intestine. You’ll do your colonic irrigation in the privacy of your bathroom and will be given a thorough information and instruction session prior to your initial irrigation.
3:00pm Now you step it up a notch with an aerobic exercise session. Each day is different, but you’ll get your heart pumping with waterfall trekking, step aerobics, weight lifting, water aerobics, beach volleyball, aerobic dance and Muay Thai boxing. Sound too much? We are an exclusive retreat built for all gender, ages and fitness levels. You’ll be able to participate at your own pace under the supervision of our fitness instructor.
4:00 pm Fancy another dip in the pool or ocean to freshen up or just some time to be at one with nature? Enjoy your break before a life-enhancing workshop by our program director or one of our inspiring consultants including a Naturopath, Medical doctor, Psychologist, Nutritionist or Metta Healer.
5.30pm Hooray! It’s dinner time followed by a visit to our herbal steam bath. This is another method of toxin removal that can help you to relieve respiratory ailments, improve skin conditions, relieve muscle tension and stiff joints, reduce stress, improve blood circulation and reduce cellulite and boost the immune system.
Your arranged activities for the day are now over and your time is your own. Most guests like to spend a little time sitting, talking or playing board games before wandering back to their bungalows, thoroughly exhausted, for a well-deserved sleep.
These times may vary slightly depending on your program.
After the stretching/yoga session, spend an enjoyable hour with a visit to a local coconut factory to observe the process of making coconut products such as oil, water, cheese, shampoo, conditioner, cosmetics and many more coconut products and purchase at factory direct prices.
Friday evening you can round off your week in style with a trip to the night walking street markets at Fisherman’s Village.
On rest-day Sunday, we’d love you to join us for a 4-hour tour of our mesmerizing island or you may organize a massage, colonic irrigation or sauna to while away your time in our quintessential surroundings.

Having spent time fasting or on an alkaline-based rejuvenation diet it is important that you transition slowly back to a regular diet.
Gradually working your body back to normal foods will ensure that you continue to benefit from your program and do not experience any problems once your diet returns to normal. If you start to consume very acidic foods or strong stimulants immediately afterwards, you may lodge toxins deeper into your tissues.
Some common side effects of incorrect transitioning from a detox program are abdominal bloating, gas, yeast infections and colon cramps.
It is imperative that you take high quality probiotics after finishing the detox program.
When cleansing you often stir up toxins and/or pathogenic microbes for which you need the beneficial flora to fight them. This will ensure that the correct bacterial environment of the colon is maintained. The level of friendly bacteria in the colon over unfriendly, which you should have cleared out detoxing, will directly affect your immunity.
It is a gift to get clean and then a bonus and necessity to re-populate with friendly bacteria. Healthy juices, probiotics, natural yoghurt, fermented soy and fermented vegetables are all great probiotic sources.
We provide you with a short course of flora grow following the program.
For 7 days after the detox, try to avoid the following foods, which will be too strong for your sensitive system:
- Strong stimulants – coffee, black tea, chocolate
- Meat and fish products
- Dairy (except for ghee and fresh yoghurt)
- Soy products for three days after the cleanse
- Soft drinks
- Very oily foods
- Cold/iced foods and beverages
- Spicy foods
Drinking ginger tea regularly after your detox will support your digestion and help to detoxify the body. Ginger is cleansing, detoxifying, and anti-inflammatory.
THE JOURNEY BACK TO EATING
If you would like to continue to rejuvenate after your program, you should eat a whole foods (simple natural, fresh, organic) diet for as long as possible.
Your digestive system will have become slower after a few days of fasting.
The following is a recommendation for how to introduce solid foods into your body. You should start with 1-2 days of having fruit only. Fruits are very easy to digest, so are the most suitable foods for breaking a fast.
For two weeks after the detox, your digestion will be fragile, requiring that you take care of it by eating simple combinations of foods and avoiding heavy foods or too many combinations. The following are guidelines for how to reintroduce foods into your body. The longer that you can eat a whole foods diet, the better that you will feel.
Each day you should take ½ cup of fresh live probiotic yoghurt or equivalent, to help to re-introduce the correct bacteria to your colon. It is fine to have juices after your fast, however, do not mix them with other foods. They are digested quickly and more efficiently when taken apart from other foods.
STEPS TO A HEALTHY DIET
- Favor foods in their whole form
- Eliminate white sugar and white flour
- Substitute animal protein (meat, eggs, chicken) with organic plant sources of protein (legumes, beans, nuts, seeds) and fish
- Watch caffeine consumption (the less the better)
- Limit alcohol
- Drink ginger tea.
- Eat three meals per day with limited snacking (only if actually hungry, not bored!)
- Drink warm/room temperature water with meals rather than iced drinks.
- Weekly one day cleanse – eating a very light diet or having only juices will give your digestion a rest, and allow the body to detoxify itself
- Include living foods in your diet like raw sprouts and fresh vegetables
- Wheatgrass as a supplement
- Eliminate refined or hydrogenated oils and replace them with ghee, cold pressed oils such as coconut, sesame, sunflower and olive oil
To keep the body functioning at its optimal rate we recommend a few key supplements:
- Omega 3 essential fatty acids, safe fresh water fish or flax source
- Spirulina, a complete food and known as a super food
- Wheatgrass juice, pure sun energy in the form of liquid chlorophyll
- Probiotics, to keep a healthy balance of friendly intestinal bacteria
- Vitamin C
- Multi Vitamin
As the body digests and metabolizes, it produces wastes that are eliminated through the urinary tract, GI tract, and through the skin or sebaceous glands. The waste products of these channels are the urine, stool, and sweat. It is important that all three are working and eliminating on a daily basis.
If you are not passing stool on a daily basis, or the bowel movements are not complete, you can consider yourself constipated. This problem needs to be addressed, because when the stool stays in the system too long, toxins can be reabsorbed, and the waste products can ferment in the colon.
If you are taking spices and have modified your diet and still experience constipation, there are a few remedies to consider:
- Castor Oil is a gentle purgative, and is very good for its laxative effects. As a laxative, the dose of oil needed will depend on the person. 1-2 tablespoons can be used in the evening, or in the morning before consuming any food. Follow with one cup of warm water. If one tablespoon does not work after three nights, increase to two tablespoons.
- Psyllium Husk is a bulk fiber which can have a laxative effect when taken in the correct way. Psyllium is a mucolodge, and helps to promote the correct environment in the intestinal tract. It will help to scrape toxins from the GI tract. Take one tablespoon of psyllium before dinner or lunch. Give the psyllium 20 minutes to digest before eating.
- Flax seeds can be infused in water and drunk each night before sleep as a laxative. For use as a bulk laxative one tablespoon can be ground and taken as a powder twice per day. As a general digestive the crushed seeds can be infused in water over night and drunk cold the next morning before breakfast. Flax Seed oil is also good for constipation, take one tablespoon before bedtime.
By following these guidelines you will be able to transition successfully from your detox program into a regular routine and will have in place the foundations for a healthy, nutritious, balanced diet.
